Do no clean your emerald gemstone with soap, ultrasonic cleaners, steam cleaners or acetone. Their substance may cause damage to the stone lively brilliance.
Clean your emerald gemstone by using room temperature running water and a soft toothbrush: brush repeatedly on the emerald to remove accumulations of dirt. Use a mild soap like hand soap or Woolite. You will see that the emerald begin to sparkle like new and the emerald will brighten.
